Jekyll Island, GA Ceremony & Reception: Jekyll Island Club Hotel Flowers: Groom’s sister Coordinator: Christina Kopecki | Christina Kreations
Christy and Damon are a lovely couple from Chicago who brought down their family and friends for a destination wedding at the historic Jekyll Island Club Hotel on Jekyll Island, GA. They held their ceremony under a gigantic oak tree by the water and we were lucky enough to have a warm weather with a cool breeze to go with the events of the day.

Ashaki and Embry were married in a stately outdoor ceremony on the lawn of Crane Cottage at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel. The whole event fit them perfectly; they truly are the epitome of style and sophistication.
From the ceremony being officiated by her father to Ashaki being serenaded by her sorority sisters to her two stunning wedding gowns — matched with the cutest pink Kate Spade shoes — the entire event was fantastic, with so many great moments and details.
In a fun and nostalgic nod to the graduation ceremony from their college days at Emory University, the guests toasted the couple with ice-cold bottles of Coca-Cola.

I am so honored that Jason and Kerry-Ann chose to have me come from Jacksonville down to Miami to photograph their wedding. They were married in a Catholic ceremony in her hometown of Miami. After the ceremony they treated over 300 guests to an elaborate reception full of great entertainment.
While the Dragon Dance, a traditional ceremony believed to bring good luck to the couple, was a really exciting part of the night I still can’t get over their surprise first dance! It’s no wonder their close friends refer to them as a unit (“Kayson”) because their choreography was tight!

Here is the video of their dance (taken by a groomsman). I have to pre-apologize for being in the way some of the time. Kerry-Ann and Jason kept the dance a surprise from everyone (including me).

Sonya and Mark live in New York but decided to have a destination wedding in the historic city of St. Augustine. After a ceremony under the tent by the Casa Monica’s pool they headed to the ballroom downstairs for a lovely reception. Sonya’s dress was a stunning Pnina Tornai dress from Kleinfeld Bridal in New York.
It was easy to tell how much these two are loved from the amount of guests who traveled so far to attend the wedding and spoke so highly of the couple in their speeches. Mark had six best men and they all gave hilarious and heartfelt speeches.

Chary and Chris are both originally from Jacksonville, Florida, but during their wedding planning they realized that with so much family all around the world it just made more sense to shift the event to Las Vegas. I was honored to be chosen as their photographer because not only are they an awesome couple, Chris is the very talented designer who created my logo.
They were married at Guardian Angel Cathedral on the Strip. For a destination wedding it was incredibly well-attended; they had over 200 guests — some from as far as the Philippines and Australia. Chary’s ability to plan from afar and pull off such an amazing, thoughtful, and elegant event was very impressive. Everything down to the tiniest detail was considered: their likenesses on custom M&Ms, coloring books and toys for the kids, and her bouquet which was a replica of her mother’s bridal bouquet from her wedding.
After the wedding we went off to Red Rock Canyon for some portraits of the couple. I absolutely loved that location because there’s nothing like it in Florida!
